Why Consignment?
Consignment offers a win-win situation for both the seller and the buyer. Sellers can declutter their living spaces while making some extra cash, while our store can feature a wider range of fun finds for our customers. Additionally, consignment is an environmentally-friendly option that promotes sustainability by giving items a second life.
What Can I Consign?
Virtually anything can be consigned, for our intake, uniqueness and condition are the overlying quality we look for. Furniture, antiques, and even artwork are just some of the items frequently consigned here. The key is to ensure that your items are clean, functional, and appealing to potential buyers by their quality and specialness
How Does Consignment Work?
When you consign an item, you bring it to us to sell on your behalf. The store will advise on pricing but the final say will be uo to you. We will incorporate your piece in our displays and social media to try to facilitate its rehoming as soon as possible. You call us at the one month mark, if your item has not sold you are welcome to either reduce the price or pick it up, again, your choice.
Once the item sells, the store takes a percentage of the final selling price as commission, and you receive the remaining amount. Our store pays 60% of the selling price to the consignor, the highest percent in town.

Send us photographs: We intake Only what we have approved, so please send detailed photos of your items to office@urbanitepdx.com OR, DM us photos in Instagram @UrbanitePdx , then keep a weather eye out for the thumbs up with your intake appt date
Please be Patient: We get over 100 inquiries a month and we review new inquiries as quickly as we are able.
Prepare Your Item: When you bring your items in please be sure they are Clean, smell free, and in excellent repair, Present your items in a way that will appeal to potential buyers. The better your items look, the more likely they are to sell quickly.
Set a Date: Keep track of your consigned items by maintaining a record of what you’ve consigned, and if your month on the floor is coming to an end.
Be Realistic: Understand the current market value of your items and be realistic about pricing. Items priced too high are less likely to sell
